Nike Golf 360º was a design project composed by several tracks integrating desktop, tablet and mobile platforms under the same functionality and visual language. My role was to cover the creation of the mobile interface for the Nike Golf 360º app during the launch phase.
Basically with the Nike Golf 360º app you can:
- Dive deeper into your stats. Check out updated views of scoring average, driving accuracy, putts per round and GIR stats—all on the home screen.
- See how you stack up across all your stats with NG360° levels
- Get faster access to your scorecards, connections and course data—even when you’re offline
- Keep it rolling with various bug fixes, interface adjustments and performance improvements
To tease the launch of the app and digital platform we launched a promo video that was distributed via Nike social media and PR channels.
The NG360 platform includes 4 key components: My Game, My Swing, My Body and My Gear.
Golfers can track their game by keeping statistics such as their scoring average, driving accuracy, greens in regulation and average putts per round.
Golfers can upload and compare videos of their golf swing to their friends and Nike Golf athletes. They can also receive personal coaching from Nike Swoosh Staff members.
This section is designed to get golfers into shape. The Gray Institute has developed the NG360 Functional Performance System that is tailored to golf movements that the body makes, a clear distinction from other training systems.
Golfers can navigate products on the website that are suitable to their needs, while also receiving product recommendations from the Nike Swoosh Staff.
Golfers stay motivated by winning “trophies” as a result of improved statistics.
